🎶 Year 5 Music – Making Waves with Baby Shark! 🦈
This week in music, Year 5 Mr Potter's class have been working hard with Mr Kirkland to develop their ensemble skills. The children have now successfully learned a four-part version of Baby Shark using chime bars and xylophones.
Each group took on an important musical role, performing the bass line, main tune, first harmony and second harmony. Once confident with their parts, the children worked in groups of four to bring everything together, creating a full layered performance.
To make it even more exciting, Mr Kirkland accompanied the groups on the guitar, providing a backing track that really brought the performances to life. It was fantastic to see the pupils listening carefully to one another, keeping in time and working as a team.
