Children In Need- Our class came up with idea of making Kindness Cards, and each child made a card for a friend with a lovely kindness message inside.
Design and Technology - using ourknowledge of pulley sytems from Our Mining Heritage topic, we researched how the Ancient Egyptians built the Pyramids and combined this to design and build our own versions using recycleable materials.
History - we carefully followed a set of instructions to mummify an orange (just like the Egyptian Temple Priests would have mummified a deceased Pharoah).
Responsibility Values Afternoon - using limited resources and team building skills, we played games of Island Movers. The children were responsible for the whole team safely moving from one island to another.
