In our block of indoor P.E lessons this half term we have explored different movements and sequenced them to create a plant dance. We began by preparing the garden with our partners (cutting the lawn) and practised these movements in unison. We then travelled to join 2 other pairs and in cannon we swept the leaves. From this position we then travelled , in cannon, as seeds and planted ourselves in the ground. The final part of the dance was the seeds germinating and growing into plants. The childre did fantastically to keep counts of 8, they tried really hard to stay in time with their partners and we all haf so much fun!

Villages, towns and cities in Geography!
After exploring aerial maps of a village, a town and a city, we identified some if the human features that you might find there. We worked as a team to arrange these according to where each feature is most likely to be found. Some of these could be found in villages, towns AND cities! And some were unique. Would you find a cathedral in a village? Why or why not?
