Miss Cairns says Hi!

Monday 11th May

Hi, Year Five!

What a beautiful weekend we've had for the Bank Holiday! How did you celebrate? I hope you managed to spend some time in the glorious sunshine with your family.

It was my Mum's birthday this weekend, so I baked her a Victoria Sponge cake and left it on her doorstep - have a look at the picture underneath! I have also been out in my garden planting some beautiful plants - let's hope I can keep them alive - I'm not much of a gardener!

Keep up the amazing work on Spelling Shed - you guys are usually the top of the leaderboard! - and you are completely rocking TTRS!!

Missing everyone!

Miss C :)

I spotted lots of these birds in my garden at the weekend - do you know what type it is? It reminded me of when we were birdwatching on the field!

Hi, Year Five!

It was lovely to speak to your adults last week - and some of you! - and I am really enjoying seeing all of the AMAZING work you have been sending to the Y5 email. Keep up the good work.

I have been out walking around my local area and I'm enjoying seeing all of the wildlife! Take a look at the photograph of a bird I saw out on my walk yesterday... it was HUGE! I couldn't get any closer to take a better picture (without getting soaked!) because it kept flying to the opposite side of the pond!

I hope you are enjoying spending time with your families at home. My family have been taking it in turns to host quizzes over Facetime! I haven't won one yet, but there's still time! Maybe you could create your own quiz for your family?

Take care,

Miss Cairns :)

Hi Year Five!

I hope you and your families are all keeping well and have enjoyed the recent sunshine we've had. What lovely weather it has been! I have been enjoying hula hooping in my back garden and I've been running most days. What new things have you been trying?

I hope you're enjoying our new topic Africa - I am certainly enjoying setting the tasks for you and I'm learning lots of new information from the learning that you guys have completed at home! Keep it up!

Take care!

Miss Cairns :)

P.S. How cute is Miss Short's beautiful, new puppy?! You guys know how much I adore dogs - I can't wait to meet her!
