This week in our history lesson we have been looking at the different jobs in a castle! We had to go around and investigate the pictures and the information to answer our mini quiz! It was a race against time to see which learning partners were the first to answer all the questions correctly! We all loved the facts, especially about the knights.
We have been learning about the story of Beauty and the Beast this week. To help us retell the story we have been using something called Talk For Write by Pie Corbett. The idea is that you create a story map using symbols to help remind us of how the story goes. Using this story map we create our own actions to re-tell the story. We absolutely loved this, this is the picture of our story map. Miss Fox has the video of the performance but unfortunately this file is too large to upload! But please ask your children to perform it for you!
Today the class have been using the dienes to help them add 2 digit numbers together.
This is Year 2 being introduced to their new topic! We re-enacted a jousting match and even knighted some children!
