WORLD BOOK DAY!! We came in to our classroom to find that some toys had done some naughty things and made a bit of a mess! We then read the story 'Naughty Bus' by Jan and Jerry Oke. After this, we explored toys using drama and created some of our own pictures of toys doing naughty things!

Sketching - we carefully looked at pictures of different vehicles in order to sketch them.

RE - We have learned all about how different countries celebrate Christmas and enjoyed learning about Pere Noel - Father Christmas in France. We made mobiles to show the different Christmas traditions

We tested materials to see how waterproof they were. During the Great Fire of London, people used leather buckets to help try and put out the fire. We wanted to find out if another material was better.

Computing - we learned to use the fill tool to create a dark background so that we could create a firework picture. Look at our masterpieces!

WW1 Centenary activities. We learned all about how animals helped in the war. We made a step by step drawing of a horse and split pin moving horses. We also listened to a lovely story called Flo of the Somme. This was all about a dog that helped deliver medical supplies to injured soldiers. We had a great day!
